What
is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication)
is a useful tool to keep up to date with your favourite web sites.
It makes use of a special code that constantly scans your
favourite web sites for updates, and then broadcasts the
updates to all subscribers through an RSS feed.
RSS feeds are typically used with news web sites and blog
pages, but any web site can use them to disseminate snippets of
useful information very quickly. When an update is available
and sent to subscribers, it typically includes a short
headline and just a small amount of text. There is often a link to
follow to read more details if you wish. The RSS feeds can
also be read on smart phones, iPads, etc.
To read the content of an RSS feed you need
access to an RSS feed
reader. More details below.

There are several ways to view the RSS entries, using an RSS feed reader -
including using an existing Yahoo ID account, or a Google
account, or perhaps in your email software, or using a special RSS Feed Reader.
Unsubscribe
from an RSS feed
It is easy to unsubscribe from an RSS
feed. In your RSS
feed reader, simply delete the entry.
