Scripts
and ActiveX?
When visiting the Share Market Toolbox
(web site), you might see a message something like:
"To
help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this
webpage from running scripts or ActiveX controls that could access your
computer..."
This is only because some of our web
pages have a page counter so you can see how many hits we get, and
because we use tools like Google Analytics to help us understand which
of our web pages get visited more than others, and which links our
visitors click on. We use this information to improve our web pages so
that we can make them more useful for you, our web site visitors.
The
Google AdSense ads also use JaveScript. We utilise these ads to promote
(hopefully) useful products to you, and for a little revenue
for
us.
We do not keep any trackable information about our visitors. Your
visits to our web site are anonymous.
If
you choose to disable the scripts and ActiveX in your browser software
(eg. Internet Explorer or Firefox, etc.) it should not change the web
pages in any way.
